Educate and daily take care of children from two to four, giving them custody, preventive care in health, food, education, and promoting coordinated actions with the families and the community through pedagogic practices, in order to integrate the children and their families in a full citizenship life.
Promote children’s well being, broaden of their experiences and stimulate of their interest in the process of knowledge of the human being, nature and society.
Develop the students’ potential, ensuring a full training for citizenship, providing them with a formative education in accordance to the modern world, educating them as a whole, in their physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual aspects so that they may be trained and competent professionals, as well as people integrated in the society where they live.

Provide psychosocial care to the families of children
Give support to 55 children in accordance to their specific needs.
The admission of children in the school is made after the interview with the social worker and director of ABELUPE to assess family psychosocial conditions.
The 55 children are met in full-time schedule, between 8am and 5:30pm, making five meals a day (breakfast, lunch, afternoon coffee after brief rest and snack before the child's departure).
Meals are set by a nutritionist, thus ensuring their quality and nutritional value.
During the day, children are divided into three different groups according to their age. All educational activities are coordinated by an educator that has function of advising the Director in planning and executing a study plan, assess the pedagogical proposal and assist teachers, aiming at improve their performance and teaching standards.
In the afternoon, after the rest, oriented and free recreational activities are developed, preferably in the courtyard.
Each month, children are evaluated by the nursing team, ensuring prevention of diseases and health promotion.
Periodically, meetings with educational and administrative purposes are held with mothers.
To ensure the best service, the qualification of staff is taken into account.
